I have one of my small swaybacks for sale. This one has black Micarta scales with a Mother Of Pearl oval shield. The walk and talk is a smooth "5". Flush in all three positions. The mop shield with the black scales and silver makes for a striking combination. File work

Just another stunning knife. I am not usually a file work fan on the backsprings, but when it is done like this it allows your skills to show through.:thumbup:

Yes , I wanted the backspring/frame to be a clean look. The file work I think is very understated just on the trough side of the frame.

Very elegant with the filework where it is. I own a couple of knives with filework on the inside of the back spring and others in like you have done on the inside. Like you stated they end up being understated and very elegant to my eye. Another one I have seen is on the inside of the tang rather than down the spine of the blade.
