Ken Erickson 3 1/8 regular jack

Sold $525 shipped conus Paypal included

I have a two blade regular jack for sale. This is made up along vintage lines. Walk and talk very nice on both blades. Flush in all positions. Thanks for looking and any comment welcome. You can say "I will take it" here or pm or email me.

3 1/8 closed
ATS-34 blades and springs
Flat ground clip master and flat ground pen secondary
Master blade .093 stock, pen .075 stock ( I feel this gives the pen much better balance and cutting ability)
Extension spring for pen blade (this fills the gap caused by a shorter secondary blade)
Half stops both blades
410 integral bolsters and frame (milled from single piece of bar stock)
Nicely rounded and polished bolsters
Long pull on master blade, standard nail pull on pen
Cut swedge on master, with cut swedge on pile side of pen (this gives more access to long pull)
Pinned federal style shield (alongs the lines of a early Schrade)
Ken Erickson jigged bone scales (dark brown ,pile side, with some color variation on mark side)
"cleaned" inside. (has a nice polish)
2 1/4 oz

Dang! Just missed it! Very, very nice. I like that extended spring, and, of course, the jigged bone. Nice jack pattern.

Ken - that's another great one.

Vince - awesome snag! Enjoy that one!

Thanks for the kind comments on this one guys!

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it up.

Wow...just wow!! Beautiful jack knife Ken.

Vince, major suckage headed your way amigo. I hope the little lady grounds you for a week. :D ;)

It'll be OK fella's,I'm sure
Funny thing,I had sent Ken some details about a jack, with the main blade as a spear. After that,I pondered & invisioned a clip, with the long pull.
I figured ,lemme not bother Ken & just keep it the way we said. Then,I see this,I could not resist pouncing !
Thanks for the comments & Ken,Thank You for offering your knives for sale here & keep up the AWESOME work

Ken..........absolutely outstanding work..........Vince.......tremendous score.

Jeez, living on the West Coast sometimes sucks, especially when something this nice gets posted during my regular work day.

Mike, didn't know Ken was taking reservations; I would like a table for two at 7:30 :)

Great looking jack Ken! I can see why Vince moved with the speed of light. I like everything about it! Just a super snag, Vince.

Vince,
If I spill the beans to your wife and she's pissed, can I have the knife?
;)
Awesome piece of work Ken - great snag Vince - please let me know if you ever think of parting with it!
:D

one feature that i really like (well i like them all), about Ken's knives are the "Erickson Swedges". if you have any old (70+ years ?) well made USA Jacks, like Ulster Knife Co. and others, they just feel so solid in the hand and have fantastic clean swedges. Ken recently made me a Jumbo Jack and it has that solid feel and perfectly clean dramatic swedging, and even better of course, that you know 100 years from now will still be the same inpressive knife. are they expensive ? no, not when amoritized over 100 years.
