Hi,

Just thought I would post a picture of this 4 inch trapper . Natural canvas Micarta
D2 blade
410 frame/bolster

I purchased a Pentax K100d slr and made a light box and learning Photoshop. Hang with me on the quality of pictures but wanted to post this one. Any and all comments suggestions on lighting etc would be more than welcome!

Ps I sent you an email a week or so ago about ordering a knife or two but never heard back. What's a fellow knifer need to do to spend his money..;)

I too will be a Lemming and chip in. I really like the "natural" micarda. Very nice slippie! :thumbup:

I like the natural a lot , still think I like the green a lil bit better.

Sweetheart of a knife though. And I have been looking at the same camera !
 
Natural canvas micarta is not normally high on my list of favorite materials, but this turned out very well. Reminds me of old brown bone that has been worn down smooth with carry and use. Nice.

Nice knife:thumbup:.

If you watch the shadows, like along the top of the bolster, while you are looking through the view finder, you may be able too, move the camera slightly, and watch the shadows disappear; then take the shot. The dark spots, take away from such a lovely knife.
A good friend who had a lot of photo experience, suggested; "don't look at the knife, look at the shadows and make them disappear from the surfaces. You will be on your way to taking some good pictures then".
