First off let me say that I know I'm going to regret this because I waited for this knife nearly 18 mos and as I understand it, Ken is not taking orders anymore. I had wanted a custom stockman for a long time and this one exceeds any expectations I ever had for owning one. Nevertheless, my wife and I had several major expenditures in the past month (no emergencies or health problems thankfully) and something has to go to offset our spending. I know I'll never carry this, so it makes the most sense to sell right now. I've had the pleasure of admiring it for a while anyway:thumbup:
This knife is absolutely mint, unused as received from the maker and has never left the house since I received it. I've only had it out for occassional viewing pleasure
This stockman has Ken Erickson dyed and jigged bone and is
just a tad over 3 1/2" Closed, with ATS-34 flat ground blades and springs.
Clip, sheepsfoot and spey blade.
410 stainless integral frames and bolsters.
Double pinned Federal Shield.
All blades have half stops.
Mill relieved liner on all blades.
Ken designed this knife so the secondary blades would lie low in the frame for comfort and aesthetics. It is as fine an example of a custom stockman as you will ever find--especially in this price range. This knife is well rounded like the old ones used to be.
This one is yours with no wait for SOLD paypal only, shipped in the U.S.A. with no fees. First one to say they want it by email, PM, or post gets it. First I'll take it supercedes any pending offers, questions or expressions of interest.
