Is that a Ken Onion "forum" knife? The forum knives were not full customs, although I believe Ken did hand grind them.

This is not a custom knife, and I wouldn't really call it a Mid-Tec either . It is somewhere in between. I had the parts machined by a shop in Oregon that builds stuff for Norton motorcycles. The blades were sent out to grind. When they came back I reground them by hand and then sent them and the handles off to get polished (S30V) I ain't hand sanding 200 by hand. Then I sent them to Bodycote for the Black Diamond coating (handles, blades and clips . Then I had the blades laser logo'd.And finally we cut the remaining parts and built them up here. As you can see most of the parts were outsourced.Which is why I don't concider it a Mid-Tec, but it's not production either. Thats why I just refer to it as my Forum knife and also because the guys on my forum initiated the project in the first place. Hope this helps clarify!
