Bought this a couple of years ago. It has Carpenter's BD1N Steel with G10 handles and has been a great kitchen knife. The knife has been used but always cleaned by hand (NEVER THE DISHWASHER!) and put back in the block. The edge has only been maintained on a ceramic home - never sharpened. I have gotten a couple of new knives and never use this one anymore. Burrfection named this knife the Knife of the year! Comes with SKY box.
