Ken Onion...you've ruined.............

The avalanche looks pretty awesome, as does the Boa, which I've yet to get my hands on. THe blur looks pretty sweet also.

2 questions, though:

Does the Avalache have the Speedsafe system?

And...what's the "bump"? (Sorry to sound like an idiot, but I couldn't find anything called the "Bump" anywhere)

86 my last question. I found it (doh). Looks awesome also. I am hoping to be able to feel all these at the next knife show I go to.

ETA on second generations Bumps? I am marking my calendar. I remember first seeing it on a Knifeforums The Magazine ad.
 
I agree on all the positive comments on the Avalanche. It's my EDC together with a Leatherman Wave. Here's a pic I made.

well your not the only one ruined...(Ken,you've done a great job imbedding that [buying frenzy] virus in every knife...)

In the last couple of months a Blur, Blackout, Vapor II, & Scallion have all made their way to my mailbox...I can't stop...
The Avalanche is slowly making its way there too.
I didn't realize it's now made w/ S30v instead of S60v?
 
I have to say the bump....well....that seems to be trying to get me to "itch" right now, but my lovely wife did give me a Blur for Christ-Mas. unfortunately mine had what appeared to be a scratch, or crack in the handle so we sent it back to where she bought it. A little dissappointing, but Im sure it will be taken care of. Ive never had any defects like this out of a ken Onion/Kershaw knife before (IM sure it was a fluke).

Ken, whats going to be next? any hints??

well I received my new Blur replacement yesterday!!!

I have to say this is one sweeet knife!!!!

Kudos to you Ken this is one great, economical, sweet knife!!! :D :D :D

I don't suppose you have found that you have an "extra" bead blast finished plain edge Avalanche laying around after all, have you?

I recall that you mentioned you may find you had a "spare"...(he grins hopefully). I do have stuff to trade, if you're interested.

I have looked and have not found one. Now it could turn up yet! Im not sure, with working ministry and another job full time my time for anything else is pretty limited, but I will still keep my eyes out for it yet though!!
