I think the value of over powered locks is questionable. I lock only needs to be so strong... If you need such a strong lock - get a fixed blade. The AXIS - cool idea - but I hate the blade. I bought one and sold it the same week.

I have a mini and a large.How do I tell if they are the old or new model?The thumbstud is checkered and rough.If I do have the old model will kershaw replace them with the new model?They are both NIB.
