Greetings fellow forumites. I would like to tell my story of my first (and not last) experience with Mr. Kenny Rowe. The first time I called him up, I asked for "Mr. Rowe". Kenny himself answered the phone, answered all my preliminary questions and then added that he preferred to be called "Kenny" instead of Mr. Rowe. I then remarked that I had seen his work here on BFC and other knife sites, and felt that he deserved the respect. Anyways, I set about getting some info on two sheaths to be made for me. The first one was for a custom knife that I had ordered. (More on that to come... a new and "B" and "U" kind of review in all likelihood) The second was for a sheath for my OVB/Fisk Bowie. For that one I requested a two-tone dye with acorns and oakleaves pattern in the center. I requested a pin-loc as the method to hold the blade in. And lastly, I requested it to be a swivel sheath with the tie down loop on the back of the sheath. Well, I received my OVB sheath yesterday... and was absolutely floored with the quality and artistry of this sheath. The pinloc is the best containment system I have ever seen on a sheath. It holds the blade in securely and opens easily. The swivel loop on the back allows for versatility in belt placement. The tie down loop will allow you to secure the tip end of the sheath anywhere for a solid two point contact.
I couldn't contain myself after I received my sheath yesterday and I had to call Kenny and thank him personally. I told him that I would have to go back to calling him "Mr. Rowe" though.;)
I encourage everybody to get a Kenny Rowe custom sheath for your favorite knife or knives. He is an absolute genuine nice person to deal with, and will bend over backwards to help you decide. I almost forgot to mention that he sent out to me his catalogue with about 4 or 5 pictures of sheathes to help me decide what to get. As soon as I get a digital camera, I will share pics of this beauty.
Thank you "Mr. Rowe"

I'm a well-satisfied "Kenny Customer" as well. He perfectly matched sight unseen one of his Folder Holsters to a carved/fancy stitched belt of mine that I explained to him in a letter...plus, as you stated, he is one of the nicest people to deal with that I've ever seen.

A true credit to his craft. :)

I'm sending my new Lovestrand Subhilt to
Kenny for an alligator inlayed high ride
sheath with quick release thumb snap and
belt stud just in case. Kenny says no
problem. What a guy!
