You just don’t see enough Kepharts around these parts so here's another of my tributes to the iconic blade in 1/8" 80CRV2. A couple of years ago someone asked about a shorter version than my standard 5” blade so this is one of them.

I stayed as faithful to the original as I could, including the profile (of course), lightly convexed to the spine and flared front scales. This one has a hint of a leaf shaped blade. In general "everything that needs to be there is, and nothing is there that doesn't need to be" (paraphrased from one of the articles I studied).

Dimensions 9 3/8” OAL and 1 1/2” tall, 1 1/4” blade– 4 3/8” from tip to scales – Hand sanded to P1200 grit. Edge before sharpening was .01” or so and it is very sharp. Balances behind the front pin.

The scales are Mesquite sanded to 1200 grit with red fiber liners and 3/16” stainless pins. Accented with powdered Opalite. The handle feels great in my average size hand and will fill a larger hand as well. The Tracker sheath is a snug fit with a retention cam.

You rock, John. Mesquite and red liners with opalite inserts in the beautifully sculpted scales. My kind of stuff. Best kephart interpretation I've seen yet. The subtlety of the tiniest curve in that handle is truly cool. No use in me asking Santa, I've not been on the good list in a long time.
