Hello,
Up for sale is this Kephart-ish style bushcrafting knife with an African Blackwood handle and micarta pins/lanyard,
This guy was designed for performance in the woods! The blade is over 1/4” thick coming in at 0.26” and is well suited for chopping and batoning, it’s 8670 at 62+- HRC with a convex grind, apple seed edge and a tip that was designed for carving as well as some jimping on the spine for extra retention and the spine is also nice and crisp for striking a ferro rod. The handle is nice and beefy with grooves up front to assist with carving and the tang is extending from the handle to be used for hammer/pounding tasks.
The finish on the blade is from heat treatment and is actually quite durable.
Blade length is 6.1” handle length is 4.65” overall length is 10.75” and blade weight is 13.3 OZ
Comes with hand stitched black Wickett & Craig leather sheath.
Asking $old with free US shipping.
