Howdy knife enthusiasts. I am happy to offer this recent product from Broken Branch Clay and Steel, my imaginary company that produces very real knives and wheelthrown stoneware. This slender knife with obvious Kephart influences is at heart a bird and trout type knife with a longer blade for large birds and huge fish. I advocate catch and release for wild trout, though. The blade is 4 1/4", handle is 4".

Info: 8670 steel heat treated by the Paul Bos shop to 60 rc. Blade is ground with a bit of convexity for added strength.
Brown canvas micarta scales
Single point retention kydex sheath
Deep red liners and brass pins.
Price: Sold
I will pay for shipping and insurance in the USA directly to you upon sale. The first " I'll take it!" gets the knife as usual.

My email address is goslaughter@outlook.com. for questions.PayPal is easy, but we can work out other methods of payment if preferred.
I warranty my work. If the knife fails in normal use, I will repair or replace it for you. I hope this knife is to your liking and thank you for looking.IMG_20220717_060657_397.jpgIMG_20220717_060729_072.jpgView attachment 1872917 IMG_20220717_061126_740.jpgIMG_20220717_062732_589.jpg

The blade is .115 in. at the spine halfway out the blade. At that same middle it is ,090". It is ground to a very fine edge. It is already getting sharp and I have done no sharpening yet. A fine maker on this forum, Jack O'Neill, described a knife he had from a friend that was simply made finer and finer until the edge sort of disappeared. No secondary bevel if I understood him correctly. That's what this is. I don't remember what this edge style is called, but it promises to be wicked sharp.

Okay guys. Apparently all I needed to say was it was 1/8" stock.😂. Jack has just said that was a zero grind or grind to zero. Cool.

Grady this knife looks like a functional and attractive user that'll slice exceptionally well. Very knice!

Looks like a nice slim knife for small game and for all-around food prep at camp. Well done Grady!

Thank you very much! I like the minimalist sort of thing going on in this knife/sheath rig but had to have a small flash of brass regardless. Again, thanks. it is a delight when folks take time to say such nice things. I was deciding earlier what to post next. Hmm.,,,,🤔🗡️
