With so much talk about the Nessmuk knife, I thought I'd post these just about finished Kephart knives. I actually like this design more as an all around woods knife. Left to right, IPE ironwood, curly maple, osage and curly maple.

good looking stuff scott..... i also love the design of the kephart... it looks like a great all around knife... i need to pick one up, one of these days..:o

Those look great. And O1 and A2 are the best in my book

Thanks guys. Three are O1 one is A2. I mainly make them from O1 but the A2 was a special request.

The IPE is plain but looks great finished. A customer brought me a load of scrap pieces from a deck. He works for a pool company that uses it for the decks they build.

I think Horace would have been VERY pleased with any four of them. Great job, Scott.

I like the Kephart knife design much better myself.

Man, thats a nice set of cutlery there Scott!! Great work!

scott-- that was nice little write up on your PSK knife, in the new TK... i really like dan schetchman's writtings, he has great taste in knives too....:D

Looks good Scott! I am partial to the second one on the left myself. I too like that blade styel more than the nessy style.

Those are execellent looking knives, very reminiscient of 19th century mountain man knives. I agree they look like a better wilderness blade than a Nessmuk IMO.

Thanks again guys. Hey Mike, Dan has a large PSK knife also. 8" overall.

Scott,

Awesome work as always. Gonna have to put in an order for one or more of your knives!

Also, great talking with you again last night. Thanks for helping me keep the lions and tigers and bears away while on my night hike/milk run.:D

Best,

Brian
