Kerry Hampton Knives

Great stuff Kerry. I'm thinkin' the guy Kerry made it for doesn't bug the crap out of him all the time for a knife. :p

HA! Well I recon if guys didn't like them they wouldn't bug me...It's all good. Thanks for the kudos, friends.

Homie done good! ;) The moose is the juice!

I'm lovin' the etched A2 against the stainless (or nickel silver?) liners.

WHATever! :p

I finished this one Saturday...3 5/8" A2 Swayback covered with 100+yo moose antler.

Did the moose tell you that he was over a hundred years old? :p

Seriously, that looks fantastic!

Can I start bugging you now, or do I need to wait for the lava lamp to heat up a little more?

That is absolutely perfect to my eyes. I love the etched A2. Stunning Kerry, simply stunning.

I don't use any nickel silver (NS). It doesn't hold up as well as 410 or 416 stainless steel as far as scratching and dents. Although, I do have some NS just in case people love that old school deep scratches and dents. :p

The antler was more than 100yo. I have no idea how old the moose was when he lost it. Probably at least 50 because that's how old I was when I started forgetting where I put stuff. :D

"If you need something to light a fire under your padding I could send you something to rememdy that"
Just what could be sent from my neighbour in "northwest eastern" Washington state as the remedy ?? Maybe some early rose flower Buds ?
roland

Flowers? Nah, I got's me some of Indian George's home brewed Heat Treating Relish, Ghost Chilis paste, salsa (I've heard its better than Naval Jelly) and BBQ sauce.

Kerry, Great job... I like the whole look of the knife.
Etched blade and the color of the moose antler look
nice together.
Thanks for sharing.

Jason

That swayback with etched blade and old moose stag looks great.
Great work Kerry:thumbup:

Kerry... Kerry... When do we get to see the next knife?

pretty please?

I've recently adopted the MilOpSec (Military Operational Security) standard...it's only on a need-to-know basis. I'm sorry, I'll have to see your credentials. :p

Wrong Response: what's you're fax number? Or do I have to scan and email them.

Of course, I was kidding. I just don't post everything I make.
