Kershaw's classic Trooper has proven itself for durability, functionality, and handsome looks. Made of AUS8A stainless-steel with a 56-59 Rockwell hardness rating, the Trooper's blade, pommel, and guard are polished to a mirror finish. A durable Phenolic® handle adds to the knife's strength and its rich ebony color enhances the Trooper's good looks. The Trooper comes complete with a presentation case, engraving plate, and genuine leather booth clip sheath. In addition, each Trooper is serial number for authenticity.
5.25 in. double edged blade AUS8A stainless steel. AUS8A stainless steel with bolsters with ebony handle, drilled for laynard.9.50 in overall length. Has a weight of 7.8 ozs.
Stain on the box and paper work is missing but the knife it is very clean with factory edge
This particular knife does NOT have the Trooper stamping on the blade, it has "Kershaw - Oregon-USA" on one side and "1007 japan" on the other. The serial #14810 is on the guard. I have not seen another like it in my research therefore I believe it is rarer than most.
With that said I am asking $400 for this piece. If you feel this is unreasonable and/or have more information about the style of this model please advice
Ken
PS: I am having issues down loading the pics so I may have to email them to you if you are interested
