Kershaw 1031

[Telechronos]

My favorite Kershaw knife has been this 1031. I love its lines and now am curious about when it was made. Model number appears only on Sheath not the blade. My 1050 hase the number on the blade. Any help would be appreciated.

Ohhh.... yes. One of my all time favorites. The 1031 phenolic handle was sold in 1979 till 1986, and maybe even before 1979 & listed for around $65.00. It was called the "camp and stream". If you like this one, you will love the 1029 "field & stream" also discontinued in 1986. It is a shorter version of the same knife. Later, John

I have to confess that I am an ardent Buck collector. (Don't shoot me) This and the 1050 are the only Kershaws I have but it is so fine that, although I bought it new,(just couldn't remember when---senior moment) I have always admired it and it has never ventured to either Camp or Stream.
