This is interesting.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
Yeah, they'll also release a larger version of it (blade around 3.5") at a $70ish MSRP price point.
Any clue when that larger version is coming? Are these tip-down only clips? Still, a chinese Hinderer for around thirty bucks might be a nice thing to edc.
I pre-ordered from Amazon June 8th. Just received an email from amazon that it will be here July 26, 2012 - July 28, 2012. Excited for this little EDC!
Not for me - that blade means it's an 'off shore' product, anyway. In that blade size and cost range, the US-made Ken Onion Scallion, Leek, & Blur are pretty well entrenched here, anyway. Besides, my life is ruined for other mere Kershaws... my wife gave me a TILT yesterday. I'm forever warped. But, seriously, the Cryo would be better accepted, I feel - even at a higher cost - if made in the USA - with at least Sandvik steel for the blade. Just my opinion.

A few years ago, I may have agreed, but I have seen a lot since then, and now the cryo is awesome ! I think they will sell out everywhere and then we will see the reviews, but as far as coolness goes, these things rock !!
