Kershaw 1555Ti Hinderer

Yeah, they'll also release a larger version of it (blade around 3.5") at a $70ish MSRP price point.

Any clue when that larger version is coming? Are these tip-down only clips? Still, a chinese Hinderer for around thirty bucks might be a nice thing to edc.

I'd like the larger one for sure and will certainly pick one up once it hits the shelves ;)

Not for me - that blade means it's an 'off shore' product, anyway. In that blade size and cost range, the US-made Ken Onion Scallion, Leek, & Blur are pretty well entrenched here, anyway. Besides, my life is ruined for other mere Kershaws... my wife gave me a TILT yesterday. I'm forever warped. But, seriously, the Cryo would be better accepted, I feel - even at a higher cost - if made in the USA - with at least Sandvik steel for the blade. Just my opinion.

At its price, the Cryo is going to fly off the shelves.

So would a US-made Hinderer design with Sandvik. But that would be a different animal. Let's hope that Kershaw decides to build both.

I pre-ordered from Amazon June 8th. Just received an email from amazon that it will be here July 26, 2012 - July 28, 2012. Excited for this little EDC!

A few years ago, I may have agreed, but I have seen a lot since then, and now the cryo is awesome ! I think they will sell out everywhere and then we will see the reviews, but as far as coolness goes, these things rock !!

While I haven't been able to purchase one yet, I agree with this. Hopefully it lives up to the hype!

Argh!
Thanks to the Forum and threads like this I just ordered a new Cryo! Now it can rotate with my 0350, 0550, and Skyline.
The Sandvik steel would be sweet on the 1555ti (and I would gladly pay for a USA made version). Can't wait to see it
in hand/pocket. The size looks perfect for EDC.

I had ordered one of these for my girlfriend to use at work on the horse farm, and it came in the mail today... so of course I had to open it up and flip it maybe 50 times (just making sure it operated properly and broke in a little before I gave it to her I swear :D). All I can say is it is a very impressive little knife and now I have to add it to my list lol. I think this would make a great compliment to carry with my 0550 so I have something for small tasks or to let someone use if they need to borrow a knife for a second (Only time I hand my 0550 to someone is to let them look it over and check it out right in front of me).
