I have never owned an Emerson so I wanted to get one of these to play with the wave feature and the thumb disk. I decided that it was not for me. The edge has been slightly reprofiled by me on the edge pro. I was just trying to polish it up and I discovered that the grind was a different angle on one side than the other, so I evened it out. It is razor sharp now.
The blade shows a bit of wear on the oxide coating but I think that just happened during the sharpening. I have not carried this or used it for anything but paper test cuts and playing with the wave feature. Comes with box, papers, and longer screws if you want to swap the clip to the G10 side.
