Kershaw and Carbon Fiber

I'm all in for a red one, those looks awesome.
Good on you Thomas, some day people will write songs about your generosity (if they haven't already). ;)

Where is the drool/slobber emoticon for those Blurs? I'm with everyone else, WHERE and WHEN can I get them? Only one thing could have made them better and that is a purple or blue CF. :D

I heard he gives out knives instead of business cards. :D

Now now, that's just crazy...................he gives out knives WITH his business cards. :D I will definitely be buying one of the green ones and putting a stonewashed S30V blade in. Can't wait!

Couple new ones. Talk about a quick response from customer requests!!!

:O can I put in my preorder now?

Thomas.

Any idea how to get ahold of these Snap On Blurs?
Are they only available through Snap On?

Thanks

Is there anyway to get just the carbon fiber inserts so we can customize our own Blurs?

I have a s30v Blur and I find the inserts to be too rough for EDC and I would love to swap in some carbon fiber pieces.

Not direct from the factory unfortunately.

DANG........that was going to be my question I fired off to CS. :( I'm working on my own "project" Blur and that just put a snafu in the mix.

BTW anybody that comes across a truck with them on it, PLEASE hook me up with an extra of each color. I've exchanged a couple emails with a person at Snap On now and she/he seems clueless about them.

Just got an email from an employee that must be more in the "loop". :) She said the part number for the new green Blur is going to be KER1670CFGRN and it wasn't yet available for sale and didn't have a release date. I'm going to assume the red would then be KER1670CFRD.

Any of you guys looking out there please remember the fellow that provided the info. :D

A body shop friend of mine threw a line out to the local Snap On guy and he is going to try and grab me a Red one.

I really wish that Kershaw would sell some of these items to people. I think they could find a good market for secondary customization. I think the sales of custom Leek handles and Blur inserts would be quite big.

I'd gladly pay a decent amount for them over having to order a completely different knife just for the parts.
