Kershaw Blackwash Knives

I had grave disappointment yesterday when an order of 2 Kershaw Black Wash Knives, starter & lifter, arrived to me. I have never seen such a bad sharpening job on two knives that were new in the box. Neither one of the knives had a decent edge on it, which surprised me since I own quite a few Kershaw knives. I really think they had a monkey do the sharpening job of these two.

The Starter, Lifter, and Manifold are their lowest quality knives, using the worst steel in their lineup. That said, I knew the steel in advance, and my Starter and Manifold were just as sharp as every other Kershaw/ZT I own, so I can't complain.

I tried to buy a blacky Blur, it looked nice and had some special steel
But gp no longer sends locking knives out of the USA it seems

If you're having trouble ordering from GPknives, try to remove all the assisted folders from your shopping cart. It might not necessarily say that they are causing the problem, and trying to place an order might even list non-assisted folders along with assisted folders as causing a problem with the order, but just try removing the assisted folders.

I had a similar problem with knifecenter as well -- there was no indication of what the problem was. After removing and adding items, it turned out that some pastes and leather conditioners were causing the problem.

I just ordered a cryo 2 blackwash tanto. Wanted it to beat on at work. Can't bring myself to hard use my zt 350's very hard. Thinking now only spending 35 bucks and in blackwash finish I'm not going to notice or worry about scratches. Now the hardest part is the waiting, I'm not allowed anything but the free shipping option because I buy a lot of knives my wife says.
