do Kershaw blades break into 2 pcs very often?
Not in my experience, but I don't use my folding knives to pry etc. I just have not heard of stories of broken Kershaw knife blades, particularly considering the very large population of said knives in the wild.

Kershaw has sold tens of thousands of Leeks per year for many years and as such, you should be able to find a good user for little cash outlay to put the theory to the test yourself, but again, I am not aware of any issue with breakage given normal knife duty.

I've got two different Leeks. Great inexpensive little knives in my opinion. Had them for years and haven't broken a blade on either one.

Could I break one with misuse? Sure, they are thin blades (good slicers) but nowhere near as thick as say one of my Hinderer's. Kershaw's are great knives for the money in my opinion. If you don't find them stout enough you can always step-up to a ZT.

Pics? The internet is filled full of stuff best described as what comes out of the back side of a bull.

Maybe just the tip.

A tiny bit of tip on my leek snapped off (CPM154 version) when I Speed-Safed it into a beer mug by accident.

Any knife can break if misused, even hinderers. Use them for what they are for, cutting material, rather than a prybar, screwdriver, or splitting wedge, and a knife will probably last a lifetime or more.

Only part of a blade I have ever broken is the tip. I've even tried to break blades on cheap knives and never been able to do it. Handles and pivots are a different story. I've had two SOG trident folders where the handles just flat out fell apart and a pivot on an old Buck China made knife that devolped so much play I just tossed it.

I don't even know how one could break a blade under normal use. Even cheap blades I've owned held up to normal use.
