I've always liked knives, but could never afford "nice" onces -- hell, I didn't really even know what was out there.

Lately I've got a little extra $$$, so I've been poking around the Internet, looking at some of this AMAZING custom stuff. While I have lots of favorites, Tom Anderson's stuff really stands out. That and Ken Onion.

I bought a Kershaw boa. Pulled the pocket clip & thumb stud off and stuck it in an Elishewitz kangaroo pouch. I LOVE this knife!

This is my first post. Just figured I'd mention that the Boa goes quite will with the kangaroo pouch.

Now I just wish I could figure out how to buy some of Kens custom work.

If you take a look around after shows, some dealers might have them. After the Vegas show, I think just about every online dealer had about 1 of his knives.

If you look at Arizona Custom Knives, you'll see they just autioned theirs last week for something like $1100

Yeah, I saw that $1100 one as well.

I was kinda hoping for something <$500.

Hey, a guy can dream.

His Mid Tech Boas "retail" at $450. I think most dealers sold them at something like $550 or $600. Another cool knife, but not handmade will be the Kershaw Whisper (I think it's slated for a $350 retail).
