Kershaw Boa

I have owned a Boa for an few years, and I don't care for it much. The blade does not remain centered, even after much fine tuning. The biggest problem is the contour and design of the flipper. It can wear holes in your pants if you have the knife clipped in your pocket.

One week after receiving the Boa, it ruined two pair of Dockers. I know I could have trimmed down the flipper to a less "sharp" profile. Instead I had a nice formed leather sheath made. However, now the knife just sits in my case.

I also find the blade to have a brittle "feel" to it. It has not chipped, but feels like it would easily chip if I accidently hit something hard with the edge. I have other folders that are better, for my use, in my opinion.

For everday use, in the same price range, I like my Spyderco Military, SERE 2K, Benchmade 710 much better than the Boa.
