Kershaw Chill would be perfect EDC, but...

It would be better if it had a thumbstud.

Also, mine is heavier than the stated 2 ounces because one of the liners was never given relief holes.

Otherwise, it's a great knife for the money. Kinda wish I had a deep pocket clip option.

I had one for years that didn't flip well at all.
A buddy bought one that flipped like a dream.

He wouldn't trade me...

Either I've gotten better at flipping it or it's gotten better at being flipped. Either way, it flips fine. I just prefer a thumbstud opening.

Skyline
-same blade length
-only 0.5 oz heavier
-better steel
-US made
-thumbstuds

Yeah, but at that weight .5 actually makes a difference. If we're talking 8 ounces and 8.5 ounces, I would agree. If you want to be at the 2 ounce range, it's much more noticeable.

You could always add a Kwik Stud to the Chill. I've added them to several of my knives.

Only on paper, sorry but the difference between 2 oz and 2.5 oz in your hand in negligible...purely psychological

I have often wished that Kershaw would do a sprint run of the Chill with better steel. M4 would be my choice. I will pass on the thumb stud though.

The Chill I got from Big 5 several years ago had a thumb stud, might check their Chills.

It would be a great edc if was a buck 110 😁

No, no no.

The Kershaw Showtime and Kershaw Intellect would make perfect EDCs. :D

You know, you may be right. But, I knew a 2.7 ounce knife I picked up was heaver than I wanted to carry.

I wish I had a scale to weigh this Kershaw Chill. I bet it's close to 2.5.

They still have'em?! Pretty amazing considering it was quite a few years ago when I got mine.
