I got a few knives to trade. Not looking for anything in particular, but here's a few things I do like.
-Traditional folders, particularly those with wharncliffe or sheepsfoot blades
-Flashlights
-Classic folders, like a Douk-Douk, Mercator K55K, Navaja, or the classic TL-29
-Fountain pens, particularly a Pilot 78G with broad nib.
Here's a few images. The knives are as follows, starting from the top left:
-Svord Peasant Knife: Black plastic handle, this knife can handle quite a lot of hard work.
-Byrd Cara-Cara: Version 1, with the sabre grind and FRN handles. Edge could use a touch up. No blade play.
-Kershaw Crown: Not sure which size this one is, but it's got black G10 handle scales. Sub 3" blade. Early lock up. No blade play.
-Spyderco Persistence: Had to use a dremel to cut notches in the screws, since they stripped. Lock-up is about 50%. No blade play.
-Byrd Tern: Has a half-stop. I quite like this knife. Finger choil is comfy. No blade play.
-Case Slimline Trapper: CV blade, yellow delrin handle scales. The blade has a slight cant towards the tip, but it works fine. Takes a fine edge.
-Opinel No.6: Carbon steel blade. Has some slight scratches, but still in great condition.
-Case Sodbuster Jr.: Stainless steel blade, black delrin handle scales. Very slight lateral blade play.
-Rough Rider Trapper: Smooth red bone handle scales. Clip blade has slight cant, but the blades take a nice edge.
-Russell Barlow: The classic knife that Mark Twain mentioned in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Lovely pull on these blades.
-Rough Rider Peanut: Stainless steel blades, yellow handle scales.
-Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knife: Took this knife camping before. Handled the job just fine. Slight staining on the blade, but still in great condition.
