OK knife gurus whats your take on these? The local WM has a box full at the sporting goods counter....They come in black or blue handles with large packaging, similiar to the Winchester 3 knife sets.. They look like the standard framelock model...

Sorry guys, it's the Crown model...I ended up buying several tonight for X-mas presents ... They also had five Salvos (2445ST) models on clearance for $25.00...I had to add one of those to my small but growing Kershaw collection....I hit the trifecta tonight...OD-1 (my first),, the Salvo and a Crown....

What next?
CD

Forgot to add: They had one OD-1 left on clearance...$30.00

Crown for $10 is a nice catch.
I just got one for a few dollars more than that.
Solid and beautiful.

My store had the Crown in the blue and black handles in a display for Christmas from the looks of it. They also had Select Fire in blue and black for $10 as well.

there are three walmarts in my area and each one sells completely different knives. and different displays as well. one of them even stopped selling knives and but sells more firearms than the others and they also sell more hunting gear. its weird that each walmart sells different stuff.

Ya, here in Cali, they dont even have bow stuff or guns..There is also a muchh smaller selection of blades =( Although they do have the kershaws :)

I picked up two as gifts and to be honest, this is the first Kershaw I'm disappointed in. Lock sticks and it just doesn't feel well made. Going to take them back and get a different Kershaw instead.

I have been hearing that the QC on these may be alittle laxed. I checked through a few to make sure I got one that wasnt too off. The only issue I had with mine was some black stuff(from buffing the micarta?) inside the frame and a few specks on the botton of the blade. For $10 I cant really argue.

I got a few of each. For ten bucks each they are worth it.....Not the normal Kershaw quality but still a deal....

Picked up several of the Select Fire models for presents. Kept 2 for myself though. Replaced 2 bits with Torx bits from my benchmade toolkit. Perfect to tighten up clips or scales.

Just in case anyone is interested, you can buy these online and get free in store pickup. It's at least an easy way to find out if your store has any instead of wasting gas to find out.

I picked up one from behind the counter for 10 - I was able to open it and pick the best one of the 3 they had available. They had a ton of them in clam shell packs along with the select fires. Not a bad deal for 10 dollars.

I just had to get one of each at $10 each.
