I sent in a Blur with a broken tip for blade replacement as well as an old manual open "beefy" knife called a Tension for sharpening. The Blur had sentimental value and engraving on the blade, but I had resigned myself to having to live with a new blade and getting it re-engraved.
Kershaw just called to tell me that the tip of the Blur can be reground to save the original blade! They also noticed a defect on the Tension and that they wanted to offer a voucher for credit towards a replacement. After reviewing their catalog, I decided on the Swerve as a good proxy for the Tension with the added benefits of a flipper and assisted opening.
Very impressed. Thanks Kershaw!
