Kershaw Damascus Blades Picture Request

Since Dave will be getting his Damascus order in a few weeks. I'm trying to make up my mind as to what color combination to go with- Silver/DAM or Black/DAM

I'm leaning more towards the silver but I want to get a better idea by seeing pictures of both. I know many members will tell me to get both colors, but I don't think I can :(

Don't worry about models I just want to see how both colors compare.

Any Damascus pics would be really helpful, thanks! :)

Just fyi, I'm looking at the Leek, Scallion and Chive.

Are damascus blades like snowflakes or will all blades of one model knife have the same pattern? Sorry if that's a stupid question, I am completely new to damascus.
 
There all different..even if from the same sheet of Damascus.. Glad you enjoy the pics

That Chive is one delicious knife, might have to sacrifice a Leek to get the Chive in both colors.

Yea, it is, didn't really care for it, I have it listed on that auction site as i need to make room
 
May have to get me one of them Shallots and a Zing. What steel is comparable to the damascus, edge retention wise? How rust resistant is it?
 
its not to rust resistance ....you have to care for Damascus, Clean and oil it to keep it looking great
 
Really do have to keep the edge clean, acid will turn it, quickly, even from fruit. The edge retention is superb tho
