Am I the only one here who owns a DeehHunter? I've had it since the mid 80s and though it isn't the newest 'high tech' steel, I find it one of the best and most versatile knives I've owned and use.
I have a Kershaw Moose Hunter (1035) that is just a tad larger than the Deer Hunter (1030). They are both very excellent, SOLID knives that feel great in the hand. Also, in-case you aren't aware, Kershaw still offers the Deer Hunter in it's 2007 catalog.
No I was not aware they still offered it (thought it was discontinued). I guess I'll have to purchase one for my son as he always admired mine- thanks for the info.
