I want to report 2 customer service issues.
1st is kershaw...they are excellent to deal with as far as CS. I sprung my clip on a 301(totally my fault) and wanted to buy another & they said that they will send me one for free !!!
2nd is lasermax the laser guide rod people...they are very POOR in the CS dept.
I have a NIB lasermax guide rod laser for a glock.I have had it for about 5 years but never installed it and really checked it out until about a week ago.I had turned it on when I first got it and it worked great ...I thought ,but I only tested it at about 25 yards for general function.
The primary window was NOT installed right or thats what lasermax said .
What it does is it makes a secondary laser image/reflection next to the main beam under about 7 yards...but the secondary beam totally fades away at about 10 yards.
I called LM and they said send a 25.00 check with the laser or give them my credit card number and they will replace the window to see if that fixes the problem and if its the laser itself it will be another 75.00
The reason they gave was its over 3 years old & THEY CHARGE FOR ALL SERVICE on lasers over 3 years old Whatever.
Here is how it looks at 5 yards....If you buy a lasermax check it out close to see if it works right at all ranges.
