Of the folders, if you could pick only one which one would it be? Or, how did I do? Parked in the Kershaw parking lot, got in line 7AM, 41 degrees F, no rain, no wind, door opened 8:45AM, entered bldg. 9:30AM. All ZTs gone by the time I got to that table. A few automatics remained, one colored one.

BTW, the Tinder hawks were selling as fast as they could be taken out of the box and priced. I was lucky to get one.

I plan to return to the sale on Sunday as some lovely ladies have requested more nail sets and I might need another coffee cup, hat, T-shirt.....

From top to bottom: $34, 20, 15, 15

1670 S30V Ken Onion (Blur), excellent steel, speedsafe assisted, sandlot slugger = XXXX = no warranty
1760 (Skyline), Sandvik 14C28N, sandlot slugger = xxxx = no warranty = has some defect etc.
3460 (Westin) 8Cr13MoV New In Box with paperwork, top drawer, George Design, was on my short list
1920 G + G Hawk Design (Select Fire) multi-tool, New In Box with paperwork, top drawer

Got nice and lucky. My wife and I were #s 9 and 10 in line, I ended up with an 0801 and my wife got an 0620. Once inside, I snagged a Launch 6, 4 of the S35VN Links, and a couple composite JYDs. Wife got a few Shuns-- a santoku, a chef's knife, a utility knife and a paring knife. Plus a whole slew of random Christmas gifts for pretty much everyone I know.

I'll be there first thing tomorrow. Gotta keep filling the Shun block!

These threads piss me off. I'm jealous. $34 for a S30V Blur? Now I'm more pissed.

Yalius, what did you pay for your toys? Inquiring minds want to know. My blood pressure isn't high enough yet.

Awesome scores!

Rage diminishing....

The 0801 and 0620 were free. The Lanuch 6 was $70, the S35VN Links were $25 each. The JYDs were $39. The santoku was $88, the chef's knife was $75, the utility was $55 and the paring one was $50, I think. Gloria bought those. The other ones ran from $5 to $20. We spent about $700 all told.

Outstanding acquisitions!!! You two were there overnight in the brutal cold and wet. Were you in one of those dome tents? Did you have a heater with you. Who was the enthusiast, most gang ho, you or your terrific wife (wow you are one lucky guy)? I am very happy for you to have those treasures as you deserve them for suffering the famous Kershaw queue. Congratulations on your local hero status. Well done.

Yeah, that was us in the tent just off the sidewalk. Funny thing is, my wife likes to talk about how she doesn't want to come but it's been 4 years now and we've camped out every time and she never turns down the free knife for being in the first 10. I think she kind of likes the whole setup but can't admit it because then I'd want to get there even earlier. We almost missed the cut this year and from the way some other people were talking, it's going to be even trickier next year.

Kershawguy, a supporting dealer and all around terrific fellow, will be in Eugene next Saturday at the OKCA (Oregon Knife Collector's Association mini-meet) in case any of you couldn't attend this weekend in Tualatin. I will see him there. Surprisingly, he has Kershaw items you cannot find anywhere else. Even at the factory sale. Bot a banner, larger than giant me, for a song from him years ago.

There were some real interesting Kershaw display cases, large, medium and small that caught my eye at the factory sale in Tualatin, Oregon. I wanted the three largest ones and for $50 each why not. Moving them and carrying them up three flights of stairs and finding room for them in a 2bdrm apt.... However, there were some smaller ones, NIB, for $20 that I will have to have if they are still there Sunday. Hafta hav. Uh huh.

Happiness at the sale today!!! A friend filled a wish list yesterday but my day freed up today so my son and I went over and bought some more :) Didn't go overboard this year but amongst the highlights are a CQC4 XXL, a green Blur tanto in BDZ1 steel, a folding saw, Skyline folder, Camp12, and a couple carabiners. At the checkout, we donated to Toys for Tots and received a free Funxion EMT folder :) When we arrived the line wasn't too long but we took advantage of the Military/Veterans entrance on the West end of the building so no waiting. Still plenty to be had if you can make it over tomorrow for the last day.

Way to go Bill. I was able to go with both my sons and it made for a terrific day together.

Which carabiner? Jens carabiner, looks kind of like a little elaphant when you have the gate on top. Where were they? I never saw them, should've asked. Sunday. Yup. Sunday.

The Marine's toy drive cannot be denied. Thank you for your service.

I found one of the carabiners lying on a table but they had some more near the machetes and folding saws. Your right! It does look like an elephant!!! Kinda wishing I had grabbed a couple more Skylines right now. It feels really nice in the hand like a small folding Bushcraft knife. Starting to see why everyone raves about them!

I'm sad, I wound up pulling a last minute weekend gig working a tree farm. Post up pictures so I can sulk and be all jealous and stuff.

Sunday's haul, left @ 1:00PM and factory closed 2:00PM.

The cool black/red Kershaw and Shun caps were $5, t-shirts $7 and hoodies $10. For every $10 donation to the Marine's toy drive you could receive a good/big chef's knife on Sunday! All taskmaster scissors sold out friday @$40 each, ZT (glass breaker/writing) pens $35 and the defect was that color of anodization was inconsistent, no jens carabiners :( left, two types of combo blade D2 Leeks available, several knockouts and lots of knives but no coffee mugs left.

The happy crowd:

People were very cheerful and polite. I couldn't be more tickled. Love Kershaw and Kershaw people. Always good to see the Marines and thank them for their service.

Taken just before 1:00PM Sunday, one hour before closing day three, the final day of this year's Kershaw factory sale. Thank you everyone Kershaw, employees and enthusiasts. See you next year. Merry Christmas.

Two chef's knives, 7.5 inch Kai and 8.5 inch Kai that you could have with each $10 donation to the Marine's to drive:
