Now that Blade is over...

Here is a new "in house" Kershaw design that looks to be pretty impressive.

Titanium Handle Framelock
Composite blade, CPM-D2 spine, ELMAX (Uddeholm) edge
3 3/4" blade
8 1/2" OAL
MSRP will be $249.95

ELMAX
Chemical comp – C 1.7%, Si 0.8%, Mn 0.3%, Cr 18.0%, Mo 1.0%, V3.0%
HRC 60+
High Wear resistance
High strength
Good Corrosion resistance

Not a SpeedSafe knife.

That's all I know for now...

I love the look of that knife. I hope to hear more about it . . .

It's already been confirmed, the knife "can be made tip up easily"...I believe tip up has a good chance of making it to production.

Thanks for the plug JC.

Yes the Speedform did win the American Made Knife of the Year for 09.

Hopefully delivery will begin in 90-120 days. We will try to incorporate tip up/down capabilities.

It's good to see new 100% manual knives coming out of Kershaw. That will resurrect my interest a lot as I continue to mature as a knife enthusiast.

Congratulations to Kershaw on their award for the Speedform ;)

Eagerly awaiting this one.....a big congrats to Kershaw on a deserving win.

That is the most attractive design I've ever seen come out of Kershaw. I'll absolutely be grabbing one.

No LH will be available.
Too bad. This is a great looking knife!

I'm glad to see a new crop of sleek knives coming out, like this one, the BM Nakamura, etc. I can even deal with a RH-only framelock, but the lack of LH clip is usually a dealbreaker for me in the $100+ range.

That's a bad ass knife.

Manual/non assisted opening is probably going to come back big time, with the recent revisions by Customs in regards to "assisted" knives.

is this going to be a standard production piece or are we talking about limited numbers?

thanks!
