Just received a new Kershaw Scalion in the box :D.I sent in my old knife a little over a week ago to replace 2 screws that held the pocket clip on,I couldn't find a star tip small enough to tighten them up and finially lost them.Thats all I wanted was to replace them.Any way the good folks at Kershaw decided I needed a new one and that what I got-A hearty thanks to them-:thumbup::thumbup: Butch-sounds like an endorsement and it is!!!

Kershaw's customer service IS top notch. Some of the friendliest people I have dealt with.

They did pretty much the same on a Frankenstein Offset I had too. Can't beat that.:thumbup:

I've never had to use Kershaw's customer service, but have heard nothing but glowing reports about it. They must be doing something right.

Let’s see if we can find the right forum …

I don't know,if you know this but Kershaw's has a keychain tool for their knives, it comes with a Phillips head bit and two other torx bits.I got mine recently with a pocket clip and a set of screws by simply contacting their customer service department.Best part of it was it was all was supplied at no extra cost.

My EDC for the last 4 or 5 ? years has been a 1580 Boa - bought a second one because I liked the first so much I didn't want to risk being without one ( In 50 years of EDC - I've lost/mislaid way more knives than have ever failed me for any reason.) Ok - so a couple of weeks back - the speed safe just quit . Cosemetically the Boa was worn - espicaially the finish on the blade - still sharpened up to a great edge. pulled out the second unit and that one had a very slightly sticky speed safe - didn't always get all the way open and lock at the end of the speed safe cycle. Probably would have gotten better with use - but sent both back to Kershaw - they replaced both of 'em with new units! After about 50 cycles each -both of these work flawlessly and S30V steel.
Since I had a pretty good glow on vis-a-vis Kershaw - picked up a mini-cyclone last night -Don't really need this knife -but what a outragiously fine knife for the money.
