Which blade shape do you like?

Option 1

Option 2

Option 3

Added 3rd option after polling started. I think I like the 3rd over the previous 2.

I can appreciate what you did there! I like both designs, but the second is very similar to the 360 so I am all for it.

Thanks, but this is just a mock-up. I haven't done it YET. I reground my own 0360 from a 0350 and really like it & I intend on doing a similar reshaping to the JYD.

Oh trust me I was following your progress! Thats my grail right there (360)! I really dig it on the JYD. It looks like another knife I like and haven't had the pleasure of owning!

Is it just me or does #2 look alot like a shallot?

I can somewhat see what you are saying, but i think it looks more like a certain gentlemanly knife... but with a way better handle!

Yes I agree with nwmetalbug, please do not use an sg2 unless it's a blem!!

The original shape rocks. If you change it to #2 you have just changed everything about what the knife was intended for. I do like the #2 but isn't there another way to go about it?:o

you also have to take into account how it will look when closed.

I did this to my Rake, and I want to grind down the ramp at the end of the handle.

How about this?

I like it! Everything about this knife is a curve.... It's almost like there are too many curves!
I like the crisp lines of the #3 mock up... I like that the point is, well somewhat pointy and that i wouldn't have to tip the knife up almost completely vertical if i had to cut open a UPS box.
Dig it!

Now get it done so we can see the real thing ;)

Yeah, I like #3 the best. I'm just waiting on the knife to arrive in the mail. I will keep you posted.

Really like #3, reminds me of the blade on an insingo Sebenza. Your JYD will be in the mail tomorrow. ;)

will anybody show some tanto ОНВ, =)

please stop using these invisible thumstuds? you make me feel a bit jelaous

The JYD has intrigued me but I have not been able to pull the trigger on it, maybe its that clip or the blade shape is just a bit off to me. I do like option #3, could be the bastard child of a Leek 1660T and Insingo...
