Hello there everyone. It's Kristina (Ryan's wife) here again with my third for sale post. For those of you that didnt see my last post, Ryan (Known here as Nevermind35) got in a pretty bad car accident last week. He's going to make it through ok but he definately has a long road ahead of him. Im posting the few knives he already had ready to go up for sale here on Bladeforums.
I have one new, never used Kershaw junkyard dog 2 with titanium frame lock and sg2 laminated blade for sale. I bought a couple of these quite a few years back from Kershaw themselves at their annual warehouse sale. I kept this one as a safe queen and it was never used at all, it was only been taken out to examine. It is a very smooth flipper, it flies open pretty quickly and locks up nice and tight with no play in any direction with lots of room for wear if you choose to use it. The blade is almost 100% dead center in the handle when closed. You don't see too many of these knives anymore, they are getting quite rare and selling it at this price really hurts me but we need to get rid of some in order to get more money for those lovely medical bills. This has the 4 X's on the blade meaning it is a blem, however when I bought the knives Thomas (Director of sales for Kershaw and Zero Tolerance) just happened to be behind that table, so I was able to ask him what the problem was with the knife. He said that they had a made a batch where the lamination lines were not perfectly symmetrical and that's why the quality control department made them blems. It is not by any means a huge difference, on one side of the blade the lamination line is slightly higher than the other, it is a purely cosmetic blemish and I thought it was almost a bonus because you get such a cool knife with top quality materials for so cheap. I think that about covers it, if you have any other questions for us just let me know, we will be happy to answer them
