I am taking this opportunity to recognize the excellent service that kershaw has provided me in the resolution of my ZDP Leek issue.

First, I received the knife out of the box with a very dull blade. I decided to sharpen it myself, which I did successfully after quite a while in sharpening.

Then, I decided to cut out a hole in some 1/2" drywall with the Leek and the tip broke off without twisting or prying.

I decided to return it to Kershaw. They replaced the blade and returned it to me in new condition in 1 working day!
I sent it to them last Wednesday, they received it on Friday and I had the knife back in my hands today-Tuesday.

Like many people, I will be the first one bitching if a company fails the customer, but many of us fail to take the time to recognize good customer service.

I am recognizing Kershaw for excellent customer service-thank you!:thumbup::thumbup:

I have to agree.
I'd never used Kershaw's customer service before, but the service I recived in getting my ZDP Leek sorted was extremely good.

I continue to buy Kershaw knives for customer service. It is probably the best customer service I have received for any product...period. I have had the opportunity 3 times to contact their service department and each time was more than statisfied. I had a Scallion that had the torsion bar go out, I sent it to them and within a few working days it was back and repaired. So happens about 6 months later the torsion bar went out again. This time I sent them a very critical (not rude...but my frustration was obvious). They offered to send me the part if I was unhappy with having to send it back. I agreed to this and two days later I had a bag of torsion bars (I forget if they sent 3 or 5). I have a Blur that just recently had the torsion bar go out. I sent a quick email and also stated that the liner that covers the torsion bar looked a little tweaked also...two days later I had two sets of liners, two sets of screws and spacer columns, two sets of clips with screws and two torsion bars...basically anything that *might* need replacement (due to my ineptitude or in the normal process of repair) was provided. I contemplated going away from Kershaw because of torsion bar issues but the customer service keeps me with them...and by the way I have 0 problems with anything other than the torsion bars in the speed-assist Kershaws that I have. Their knives have really improved in quality and selection, customer service has been always excellent...I will stick with Kershaw.
