Have been looking to get a knockout. They are apparently unavailable. What's the scoop on when they will be out?
Thanks

The Knockout was the first one to have it.
It a hybrid Spear-Point/Dropped-Point blade shape to it, for one.
I think it is the second model to feature the "sub-frame lock" design too.

??? I thought that was what this thread was about![]()
The knockout is actually the third to have it, after the knockout, and the knockout.
Funny you say that. You should read the sticky titled No More Release Dates!!I think Kershaw should seriously re-think it's timeline on announcing new designs. I can't even count the number of posts I've read on this knife stating that they waited forever and then got sick of it and went to purchase a different knife.
The first run of Knockout's hit the streets back in Nov. 2011.I would comment on the absurdity of people criticizing Kershaw fans for being frustated after patiently waiting a YEAR and having nothing to show for it, but that should pretty much go without saying.
Have you worked at a manufacturing facility in the past?I still like the company's products, and their commitment to staying at least partially USA made, but I have to say... any modern manufacturing company that can't manage +/- 3 months on their schedule, should really do some heavy duty introspection. That's the equivalent of hitting the broad side of a barn.

I already did. I found this thread through a google search, registered, replied, and then skimmed the rest of the forums. I've lurked here previously, but the last time I was on the forum, the Kershaw subforum was still shut down.
