Kershaw Knockout, find one and buy it!

Knife was just received.

The blade centering was perfect and lock up was rock solid with no play up/down or left/right. The opening mechanism (speedsafe) is a little stiff at first, as well as the sub-frame lock. After just a few openings though it becomes very smooth and quick. The pocket clip comes ready for tip up right side carry and boy does it carry deep.

This knife is a homerun. It looks and simply feels very high quality. The stone washed finish is gorgeous combined with the wonderfully textured aluminum scales. It's one of those knifes where the ergos allow it to become an extension of your hand.

Before purchasing the knife I thought that the lack of jimping would be a hindrance to making a secure grip. I couldn't have been more wrong. Although I'm sure NutN will whine....

After some hard use I'll give a thorough review. However initial impressions are outstanding!!!

Just got my Knockout, diggin it, real thin blade and handle, should slice quite nice. Lockup is ROCK solid.

No, there are no plans to make a Carbon fiber Knockout, cool as that would be. When I mentioned that Carbon Fiber works well with the Sub-Frame Lock mechanism, I was referring to the ZT 0777.

Figured as much, I was kidding with ya. Don't you love how we get all feverish for some CF? Although it would be cool indeed.

Crap! I can't decide on which version to buy. The aluminum model or the G10 version.

Any of you own both versions by any chance? If you do, which one do you prefer..

PS - I don't have enough to get both versions. Just sayin'..
