Thank you for posting the pictures Nastie.

I haven't had any luck finding one of these yet. I will keep looking though.

Edited to add: I found one and have it on order. Hopefully it will be here by the end of the week.

That is sweet looking. I'm gonna have to grab one of those. I really dig that knife.

Hi Nastie -

Sweet!

What do you think of the sub-frame lock?

The clip looks like a winner (the whole knife does!)

best regards -

The sub-frame lock is very solid, just like a regular frame lock. No blade play out of the box what so ever, and the blade flys open with with ao. As for the pocket clip, this one is a winner. It rides very low and the knife is so thin for its size you don't even know its there. I put a 550 lanyard on it to help with extraction it rides so low. The blade is also stonewashed which looks great.

Dat blade shape!!!

I love my skyline but with that bladeshape, the stonewashing, the pocket clip and the lock I think it has to be a replacement.

The scales are g10 and the lock steel correct? What did you pay if you don't mind?

Yeah, the scales are machined G10 and the sub-frame lock is black anodized stainless steel. I paid right at 60 for it. wayyyyyyy worth it imho

it's as big as the ZT0350 and almost as thin as the Skyline, with a thicker blade.

I can't wait ether. I am a little disappointed the handle wont be aluminum. Does anybody think it will loose any strength because of it ? G10 is great but I was looking forward to aluminum.

There are plenty of knives out there in G10 (and linerless as well) which are very strong. Some of the Cold Steel products, for example. I think the G10 will do just fine on the Knockout.

I was looking forward to aluminum too but I don't think the G10 will be any weaker.

I got mine today, along with a blue-handled Leek. It will take me some time to get used to the Speedsafe feature.

So far so good though. It was worth the wait.

Aluminum to G-10 is an upgrade imo. G-10 is just as strong, if not stronger than aluminum and it is chemical/heat resistant unlike aluminum.
