Kershaw Knockout

^Yes, very much so. The Knockout is now aluminum, and is commonly available save for selling out, which isn't the case if you look at the big A retailer that has them in stock. I just got mine today from said retailer, standard aluminum version.

The Knockout, is pretty awesome. So far, I love it.

I feel I need to reiterate how amazing this knife is. Wow. I love it. While my 0550 is out being resharpened, and my 0560 is out being replaced/repaired, this thing has been a joy to use at work and at home. I love it. The blade is gorgeously beefy, but the high flat grind is choice, and cuts very well. The handle is just big enough to fill my entire hand, and even though I'm partial to the thickness of the ZTs, the thin handle feels like nothing in my pocket. The sub frame lock is fantastic, has a relatively early lockup, but sits firmly and there's absolutely no play.

I also have a Piston here, but the Knockout has a firm place in my pocket. I love it, I really, really do. I love how it looks as well, it's got kind of a shark shape to it when it's open. The aluminum handles are a joy, especially without jimping. I'm not sure why anyone would want this slick design in G10, or with any grip augmentation. It comes out of the pocket quickly, and slides back in quickly. The contour of the handle gives fantastic grip.

It really is an awesome knife.

Can someone with this knife post a comparison picture with some common knives around it so we can get an idea just how big this knife is?

Don't suppose someone could post a picture of the back-side, could they?

5.56,

I think you just sold Kershaw a bunch of knives. Make sure you ask for your commission. I was heavily considering the 0560 until the 0550 updated its design. Now I'm in limbo

If I wasn't addicted to knives, I could probably be completely content with an AL Knockout as my EDC for life.

It has everything. Slim, lightweight, lot's of cutting power. The AO flipper is fast and doubles as a guard.

Figure in Kershaw's lifetime warranty and you're set.

Thanks, 5.56. I think I might have to look for one of those! Awesome pics, too.

I have the G10 version, the first one off the line, from Thomas himself :)

It's like a bigger AO Skyline, or a slimmer ZT0350.
