The pockect clip from the RJ1 ( low rider ) bolts directly on to the lahar with no mods at all . I'm way more in love with my,lahar now

I just got one on here. I went to switch the clip & my T6 bit wouldn't fit. I was surprised to see Philips head screws used.
I wish this would've been assisted, but it is VERY SMOOTH to open.

The Lahar is one really amazing knife that is frequently overlooked. Fit and finish on them was really impressive.
With proper technique the Lahar should flip in just about any position. When you get the hang of it you won't miss assist.

Good to know that clip fits. Thanks for posting the info msass74.

Old school clip bolts lol , don't forget to put the third clip screw in a safe place .I,went as far,to sand and polish my clip . Looks good . Tell you what dosnt look to good is a RJ1 with a lahar clip :)

The polish on the Lahar blade is nice. I guess it's made in Japan? VG-10 blade steel.

I have to put some wrist action into flipping it open. It's smooth like the JYD.

I polished the clip to match the blade . , the vg10-has a higher than normal hrc of 60-62 takes a great edge and if you polish up the pivot area it smooths out the opening something fierce and now with low rider clip I'm all set

Yup, made in Japan.

You are not pre-loading enough. The Lahar should flip with no wrist. Tim definitely can design flippers that require no wrist.

I want a low rider clip. Can someone point me in the direction of one, or two?
Thanks for the info, my lahar wants to ride low now..

Just checked out the cryo clip and its the exact same clip .

im almost positive all the older kershaws did , does your have torx ?

I'm not the first owner of my Lahar. One clip screw is missing, the other two have Phillips heads. I simply wasn't sure they were original.
All of my Kershaw folders have only torx screws.

Thanks.
Nice idea with this low rider clip!

all phillip head screws but wouldn't be a bad thing to put the hex in there
