Mine and all the Lahars I have seen came with the phillips clip screws.

yup they had Torx. I just was taking pix today for an Ebay ad and here it be. With Torx.

It seems, that most of the Lahars had philips clip screws but some of them, maybe at the end of production, had torx screws. Maybe our Moderator could help us with this issue.

If I zoom in on the clip in your pic, the screws look to be Phillips heads (though since it was made in Japan it is possible they are actually cross-point instead).

They are Philips (or cross-point) heads indeed. I haven't noticed that earlier.
