For sale is a Kershaw Launch 1 in the House of Blades exclusive tan handle with DLC Blackwash blade finish. This knife is exclusive to HOB and was recently purchased from their retail store in Fort Worth, TX by me. I have carried this knife twice and tied a 550 cord lanyard on it, that is it...decided I like the Launch 3 better for my hand size. Knife is LNIB and comes with box, lifetime free sharpening card from HOB and even original sales receipt if the buyer wants it.
This knife is a really nice example of a US made automatic, 3.4" CPM154 blade, DLC Blackwash finish, tan T-6 aluminium handles, all black hardware and a black pocket clip for reversible tip up carry. The action fires fast and lockup is very good for a plunge lock, the firing button requires a deliberate push but isn't stiff like some can be, it has a nice continuous tension feel to it. Blade centering is perfect down the middle. As I said, knife has not seen any real use (paper test only), there is a tiny spot on the edge that's barely noticeable and could easily be sharpened out in about 5 minutes, buyer can take or leave the lanyard as they wish. This is a great chance to get your hands on a rare variant of a very popular Kershaw model that makes a great daily carry automatic.
