Kershaw Leek Knockoff

Look at his post count. Someone with Gold or Platinum go look at what those posts were about.

Some people just never learn...

Please tell us you're joking.

Of course it's a joke. It is a ridicules question. That's the joke. The reason I was reading this thread is because I saw a site many months ago that had dozens of knockoff. Leeks being the most prominent. I was amazed by the look of the copy's. The prices also shocked me. I would think that producing a knife, even with the cheapest materials would cost more than they were asking. I could buy 100 of them with the money I spent on REAL Leeks. My favorite is the Black & Blue. But yes!!!!!!!! It was a JOKE.

What on earth does post count have to do with anything? I would love to hear a response to that????

sorry desert heat. we get a lot of trolls in the subforum usually with low post counts who post something to incite our dear mods. im glad it was a joke

As much as it goes against my classical literary training, "smilies" do help in these forums.

Apply liberally.

I apologize, Desert Heat.

SladeGT summed it up best, I've seen many trolls, and just thought that you were "just another one."

When people usually post something like that it is always helpful to convey the original meaning by either a :D or a :p smiley.

Smileys are a great way to clarify your posts. At times, it is hard to discern between sarcasm, joking around, and a real question.

That said, there is one smiley that is not welcome here. Look at the list available...you'll figure that one out!

There is a knife company here in SA that I refuse to buy from because they make knockoffs....of everything about! Even the rainbow leek with serrations and CRKT's products. Will try to get one and show everyone. Here is a link to a site that sells the knives. NOTE IT IS NOT THE MAKER http://www.ramrod.co.za/products.php?sub_cat=66&cat=3 bottom of page is the "rainbow leek"

OK Kershaw subforum I too apologize. I am new to these forums. It was all I could do to include a quote in my post let alone two of them. The smiley face thingys are the way to go. Your point about knowing my intentions through text alone is valid. Important lesson learned.

AHHH.... I see the Icons down there. I can't figure out how to put them up here.
I'm headed to the FAQ.

HEY :) :D I got it!!!

Hey All, I hope don't get "stoned" for this ... I actually found some usefulness for some knock offs. I know, I know ..."What the heck is this guy talking about"???

I'm a LEO, Defensive Tactics Instructor, do so some SKDT (Spontaneous Knife Defense Tactics), and MBC Drills. I've found that some of the knock offs come in handy during training and drills.

What I do is find some of the knock offs that are similar in design (Nowhere Near The Quality) and grind down the blades to make "Drones/Training Blades". It helps in keeping that specific feel with a specific design if necessary in a SD situation when having to deploy quickly. Since some of the knock offs are similar in weight and design, you don't lose that feel with a familiar design EDC'd. Besides ... It sure is fun to GRIND Down/Destroy a Knock Off in the process :D and MUCH Less PAINFUL than having to destroy an original like I've seen some do . Thanks for listening ...Take Good Care All and Be Safe Always.

God Bless :)

How do I post multiple quote from one persons post, allowing for me to comment on each portion of the quote?

How do I post multiple quote from one persons post, allowing for me to comment on each portion of the quote?

Click on the ' " ' Icon to the right of the Quote button on the ones you want
and then click the Quote button on the last one you want to quote.

(the buttons will light up RED when you do this) You'll see.

How do I post multiple quote from one persons post, allowing for me to comment on each portion of the quote?

ughhh, If I want to break up your reply into two or three different quotes, and be able to comment on each quote separately, do I need to copy/paste the quote= stuff for each quote I want to make? Is there a better way to break up one persons post into multiple quotes without having to copy/paste or type any commands? I read through the forum FAQs and could not find an answer to this (or at least one I could understand).

If you don't want to copy and paste multiple times, you can use the vB code. To get text into a quote box, put [ q u o t e ] in front and [ / q u o t e ] behind.

Remove all the spaces. I had to use them to get the commands to show.

I always do it by hand, like SPX*. I'll have to try this "multi-quote" thing.

*'Course, I code HTML by hand, too. :D
