Ditto. My two Leek 1660TG10 arrived a short while ago and they're great. It has the G10 handle of the Leek 1660G10 and the blade & color of the Leek 1660TGRYST minus the serrations. All have S30V steel blade.

Top to bottom: 1660TG10, 1660TGRYST and 1660G10:

This is really a pretty big deal to Leek guys. Trying to score a non serrated, tanto Leek recently has been tough. They go quite high on the secondary market. I've got one showing up today and am seriously considering a second.

For those who didn't get one. Start looking on the secondary market. KC is SOLD OUT !!!

I've wanted a plain edge Random Leek for the longest I'm so glad I got my order in before they sold out. Its to bad they didn't make it a framelock the it would be the perfect Leek. Anyone know if it could be converted to a framelock using parts from a standard Leek?

We'll I have confirmed that my FrankenLeek idea works you can use the framelock from a standard Leek in place of the liner lock. The only thing that doesn't fit right is the three screws that hold the handle together, they are a bit to long so they stick out on the other side about 1/8th inch. Anyone know what size these screws are? They look to be 2-56 t6 but Its hard to tell for sure just by looking at them.

To convert the knife into a Frankenleek, you can borrow the screws from another Kershaw. I can't recall if its either the Scallion or a Shallot though. There's an old thread around here somewhere if your inclined to look.

I'm sorry I didn't jump on this sooner though, its one nice knife. I'll take shredded jeans over the slick handle any day of the week!

Thank you for posting this RZ (Can I call you RZ?)

I'm more than happy already with my 1660G10 but I highly recommend this version to any who doesn't have a similar Kershaw yet.

I've sent this to my sister who loves reversed tanto's and she's looking at secondary markets aws.

Thanks for starting this thread, Ramzar, I was going to start one if no one else did.

Wow, only 321! Sure am glad that I stretched the budget and got two. They arrived yesterday, and besides needing the pivots loosened up a bit, they are perfect.

Thanks I've been searching but haven't had much luck. I could just cut the screws down to size but then if I ever wanted to go back to the stock configuration they would be to short.

WoW, amazing how fast some of this stuff sells out. Managed to get one before they were all gone.

Thanks Ram, would have totally missed this one if you hadn't started this thread. Keep it up!

For the people that got one of these Leeks how is the blade centering on yours? Mine is off center almost to the point of rubbing on the liner and I have tried all the usual adjustments to no avail. I can almost always get a blade centered and all my other Leeks are fine but this one is really a pain in the butt!

One of mine was perfectly centered even after several open/close cycles. The other one was not centered and similar to yours in the same direction. However, I was able to center it by just adjusting the pivot screw several times.

You can adjust the blade centering on the Leeks by loosening ALL the screws (pivot and scale) and messing with it. Although most Leeks I get are pretty centered up.

I bought one of these from KC and like it very much. Very grippy G10, S30V steel and quick deployment makes for a nice package. My biggest beef with the standard Leek is the slick handles, and this knife addresses that problem. All in all, Leeks are very handy and portable blades.
