That's the key, right there. The Leek punches way above it's class. It's such a good design that it actually competes for a place in the rotation with knives costing five to ten times as much. It's that good.

Great point! I love my Leek, I have the blacked out version so there isn't much in the rust department to worry about, but it will rust if not taken care of well, that 14C28N steel is like a rust magnet. This was my first truly nice EDC as well and I still carry it regularly to class and work. (I'm in college and work at the library here)
 
I think the leek makes an amazing light-duty edc knife, it does have a VERY thin tip though, so you will have to be careful not to snap it! but overall a great knife!
