BTW, I am looking for a Kershaw 777m anyone know where the best price on that is? It was introduced roughly 21 months ago, so I assuming it has gotten old and the clamor has worn off, surely someone has a good sale or clearance deal on it right?

Best advice is to go to the usual knife store websites thwt are listed in the dealers section. Your post was moved and has turned into his own thread, as it had nothing to do with the topic being discussed. As far as the 0777, you need to pay closer attention, the knife hasn't been released yet. There is no such thing as a clearance sale on an item not yet released.

I'm a big fan of Kershaw's products and have even collected some really hard to find ones.
But their delay between announcing a knife and finally shipping it to dealers is beyond ridiculous.

Announcement and promised delivery times are 2 different things that can hardly be confused one for another. On the other hand, many knife companies simply don't announce release/availability because people flip their wigs when something happens to create a delay. It's not worth the stress for them, and it's understandable. I'm not seeing any issues here, aside from the personal opinions, which everyone is entitled to.
