Kershaw Manifold hit & miss

Greetings from a newbie, I currently have an issue with a Kershaw Manifold (its a budget edc so I am not expecting perfection) The weird thing is lately sometimes it snaps open quickly like it should, then the next time it will be quite sluggish, so I will flip it open 5 more times & it operates as it should.. then the next time sluggish again.
I don't know if I am missing something, but so far to try to remedy this I cleaned it very well using compressed air, q-tips & Tri Flow lubricant (maybe not the right lubricant?) & adjusting the pivot accordingly. It feels like I have the pivot dialed in as to where its not too snug to hinder the speed, yet snug enough that there is no play. I figured as long as its clean and lubricated it should either work.. or not work. Could it be an issue with the washers (I assume they have washers?)

Like I say I am a newbie & my only 2 flippers are this Manifold & a Kershaw knockout which I love..well, loved, I flipped it so much I snapped the torsion bar & am awaiting a warranty replacement.

Any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong or what I could do to remedy this issue would be greatly appreciated. Love this site, been lurking around here for months & thought Id finally join.

Loosen the pivot by 1/16 turn, the stainless handle is notorious for expanding and contracting with temperatures. Once it warms up in your palm the knife deployed better

Thanks, I backed off the pivot that 16th but it seemed a little too sloppy so I decided to pull it apart & realised the torsion bar is busted, I guess it its hit and miss because the shape of it allows it to still work if its in the right spot, I packed the opening with vaseline & I think it keeps the spring in place enough that it actually works better & will do the job until I get a replacement torsion bar.
