Kershaw Nakamura Pics!

Very nice! I've been considering one of those for a while to fill the same niche. If you get a chance could you post some pics looking at the top and bottom edges of the handle (and showing the lock-up)?

I have one of A. G. Russell's folders with the Quince wood, and I have never used anything special to treat it. It has absorbed some of the natural oils from my hands, but I see no cracking, or warping. It's actually been through the washing machine a few times. In the 8 years I've owned it, is has become quite a bit darker, but that's all. It still looks great, and is my wife's favorite knife of mine. (It has a damascus blade as well.)

That Chinese Quince is quite durable, so you should be able to just enjoy it, with no worries.

That Nakamura is high on my want list, as well, just behind the Mcusta knives.:D

Thanks, WadeF!

Ordered mine yesterday and got a confirmation that its on the way! I'm very excited! Your pictures of the knife's stunning appearance helped seal the deal. I own another Kershaw knife and I find their quality to be first rate.

I'll let you know when I receive it. I'm also considering a Kershaw Blur for my everyday carry, since this knife will probably see more time in my velvet lined teak knife box than in my pocket.
