Here's the sad part:

Outside the warranty room are a 55-gallon drum of busted knives that didn't make it, Goddard leaned in and grabbed a pocket knife at random. "He must've been prying something with this blade; look at how the tip is bent. A lot of these are cases of misuse, but we replace them anyway.

Really. Given the quality of the "quad-x" blems I've seen, you know the drums still have some keepers!
